This intro to yoga is intended for those who are curious but have little or no experience with yoga.

During the yoga sessions you will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of what yoga is and its health benefits, how it works
  • Improve strength and flexibility
  • Learn to relax
  • Improve concentration
  • Learn the 8 stages of yoga
  • Learn to manage stress and stress related problems
  • Understand the mind = body connection
  • Work on alleviating chronic conditions such as back pain, migraines, insomnia
  • Learn proper breathing techniques

The list of things which yoga can cure and prevent are endless because yoga gives the power back to the body. By practicing yoga you will be strengthening your immune system so your body can fight and prevent disease and illness on its own.

The healing power of yoga has a domino effect on our entire being from the glandular system to circulation to cell function to the physical body. Not only will your physical health improve but your emotional and spiritual health will also improve.

Yoga is for everybody, it can be practiced by people of any age, any shape, size, and strength; it will increase flexibility, make you stronger and help you stay in shape, but these are results of the class not pre requisites.

There are some of the things which you can expect from this course.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.

Come to yoga with bare feet, and empty stomach and an open mind!
